How it works

Four steps, no paperwork, no waiting on a quote

We are a call-first business on purpose. A three-minute conversation gets you a better-sized container and a firmer price than any online form, because we can ask the two or three questions that actually matter.

  1. 1

    Call and describe the job

Tell us what you're clearing and where you are. Yesenia Alcantar or a dispatcher will size it with you in about three minutes — no forms, no waiting on an email quote.

  2. 2

    Lock in a flat rate

You get one number that covers delivery, the rental period, pickup, and disposal up to your weight allowance. We tell you the overage rate up front so nothing lands on your invoice later.

  3. 3

    We deliver and protect

Our driver calls ahead, lays boards under the rails on driveways and pavers, and sets the can exactly where you want it — doors facing the work.

  4. 4

    Fill it, we haul it

Load to the fill line, call when you're done, and we pull it. Most loads run to the Charlotte County Landfill on Zemel Road — and we carry the building permit number for the job, which is what keeps you off the out-of-county rate.

Sizes

Pick the right size the first time

The most expensive mistake in this business is renting a container that is too small and paying twice. The second most expensive is renting one so large you pay for air. Here is the honest comparison.

Compare in detail
Roll-off dumpster sizes available in Port Charlotte, FL
SizeDimensions (L×W×H) Holds aboutWeight allowanceBest for
10 Yard12′ × 8′ × 3.5′3–4 pickup loads1–2 tonsBathroom remodels, small cleanouts, concrete
15 Yard16′ × 8′ × 4′5–6 pickup loads2–3 tonsGarage & porch clearouts, single-room renos
20 Yard22′ × 8′ × 4.5′7–8 pickup loads3–4 tonsRoof tear-offs, kitchen renos, big cleanouts
30 Yard22′ × 8′ × 6′10–12 pickup loads4–5 tonsNew builds, additions, whole-home cleanouts

Weight matters more than volume down here. Concrete, plaster, and anything that has been rained on or flooded will hit a weight allowance long before it fills a can. If your load is dense, tell us on the phone — we will usually recommend a smaller container and save you an overage charge. Read the full sizing guide →

Why local matters

You are calling a yard on Electric Way, not a call centre in another state

A large share of the “local” dumpster websites serving Port Charlotte are national brokers. They take your card, mark up the job, and subcontract it to whoever answers. That is why quotes change, why nobody can tell you the weight allowance, and why the driver has no idea your driveway is pavers.

We own the trucks. We own the containers. Rick Vandiver still takes calls when dispatch is slammed. When you ask whether a 20 yard will fit a 1950s driveway in West Port Charlotte, you are asking someone who has actually driven it.

  • One price, start to finish. Delivery, rental, pickup and disposal in a single flat rate.
  • Weight allowance stated up front, along with the exact overage rate per ton.
  • Licensed and insured, with a certificate we will send your GC or property manager on request.
  • Material sorted where we can, so clean wood, metal and concrete stay out of the landfill.

Reviews

What Port Charlotte customers say

A snapshot of the feedback we hear most often from homeowners, contractors and property managers around Charlotte County.

Called at 8am on a Saturday during a bathroom gut and had a 15 yard on the driveway before lunch. The driver put plywood down without me even asking. Price on the invoice matched the price on the phone exactly.

We took the pool cage down after the storm and I had no idea how much room screen framing takes up. They sized it on volume, told me to pull the aluminium out separately, and that bit actually came back as money. Clearly done this before.

Grant H.Port Charlotte

I got three quotes for a re-roof container. Two were national brokers who could not tell me the weight allowance and had never heard of the permit number the landfill asks for. Rick answered both in about four seconds. Easy decision.

Answers

Dumpster rental questions we hear every week in Port Charlotte

Straight answers to the things people actually ask when they call. If your question is not here, ring us — we would rather talk it through than have you guess.

How much does a dumpster rental cost in Port Charlotte?
Most Port Charlotte jobs land between roughly $340 and $650 before tax, depending on size and the material going in. That is a flat rate covering delivery, a standard rental period, pickup and disposal up to your included weight allowance. We quote the overage rate per ton up front, so you are never guessing what a heavy load might add. Our full pricing guide breaks down what actually drives the number.
Can you deliver a dumpster the same day?
Very often, yes. If you call before about 10am on a weekday we can usually place a container in Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Charlotte Harbor or Gulf Cove the same afternoon. Communities further out such as Babcock Ranch or Cleveland are generally next-day. The one week we cannot promise it is straight after a hail storm.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Port Charlotte?
Not if it sits on your own driveway or private property, which covers the overwhelming majority of our jobs. If the container has to occupy a public street or right of way, you will need a permit from your city — and we serve six counties, so which office depends entirely on the address. Historic districts add a step too: the underlying work usually needs review before the container matters. Here is the full walkthrough.
Will a dumpster damage my driveway?
Not when it is protected properly. Our drivers carry plywood on every truck and lay it under the container rails on every delivery as standard, and we double it on pavers. The bigger issue here is what is under the surface — sandy subgrade washes and settles, and it loses bearing capacity fast once the wet season saturates it.
What can I not put in the dumpster?
No liquids, paint, solvents, fuels, pool chemicals, batteries, tyres, propane cylinders, refrigerant appliances that have not been evacuated, or anything containing asbestos. Florida also bans several things from landfill outright — yard waste, appliances, electronics, tyres and fluorescent tubes. the Zemel Road transfer station in Charlotte Harbor takes most of that free for Charlotte County residents. Everything else is fine.
How long can I keep the container?
Our standard rental period covers the vast majority of jobs, and if you need longer you simply call and we extend it at a modest daily rate. We would rather you kept it an extra three days than rushed the work or overfilled the can.
